Privacy Notice

Accounts are optional. You do not need an account to search an address, buy a report, or receive normal email fulfillment.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we store your verified email, name, optional mailing address, saved property addresses, account-security settings, and the policy versions you accepted. When you place an order, we record the delivery email, purchased product, price, payment state, fulfillment state, Stripe identifiers, and an immutable snapshot of the property address submitted at checkout. Completed report PDFs and delivery metadata may also be stored.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, prepare and deliver reports, show saved properties and order history, prevent duplicate processing, provide support, investigate misuse, and maintain business and legal records. A confirmed account email may claim previously unowned guest orders only when it exactly matches the normalized email recorded with the Stripe purchase.

Service providers and payment data

Supabase provides account authentication, database, and private file storage. Stripe processes payments. ZoningTrace does not store complete card numbers. If you allow analytics, Google Ads may receive a confirmed purchase event containing only the product value, currency, Google conversion destination, and a non-identifying Stripe transaction ID used to prevent duplicate counting. We do not send Google the buyer email, name, property address, report content, or other form entries. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Security and access

Customer data is separated by account ownership controls. Report files are stored privately and accessed through short-lived links after an ownership and account-security check. Optional authenticator-app MFA, once enabled, is required for new account sessions. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion requests

We retain order, payment, report, audit, and support records as reasonably needed for fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, and legal obligations. Account and saved-property data may be retained while an account is active. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact ZoningTrace through your report-delivery or support correspondence. We may retain limited records when legally or operationally required, and we will verify the requester before acting.

Your choices

You may buy without an account, archive saved properties, decline optional MFA, change your account email through verification links sent to the current and new addresses, or request account deletion. After a verified email change, previously unowned purchases matching the new email may be added to the account automatically. Self-service deletion is not currently available in the product.

Use the contact channel in your ZoningTrace order or report-delivery email for privacy questions. We may update this notice as the service changes and will revise the date above.
